Albay - The Governor of the Province of Albay from 2007-2010 and an incumbent governor in the year 2010-2013. He was branded as the Green Economist Governor and Father of the Albay and Manila Declarations on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA). These declarations paved the way for Republic Act 9729, "The Climate Change Act of 2009", and Republic Act 10121, "The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act", which established DDR and CCA as a national and local priority for building and community resilience to climate change impacts and disaster. The GOOD

• APPROACHABLE
• He is well known as a member of the public. He laughs, he drinks he walks and talks as a regular person. You will never feel inferior whenever he talks with you. He will say "po" whenever you approach him or call him. His bodyguards are not so visible like other politicians. 
• HONEST
• Most of the politicians worldwide whenever interviewed on TV, and on the radio they usually have a script or they negotiate to the interviewer of the questions to ask them. But Gov. Joey Salceda is way too different from them. He does his homework and if he is unsure about it he will actually tell it to them intelligently.
• CARING
• He has the heart of a mother. He cares about his people. He believes in "prevention is better than cure" concept. He actually cancels offices, schools and other transactions ahead of time to prevent casualties in the entire province of Albay.
• DEDICATED
• It is "rain or shine" for him. He will go out there and never fail the people that expects him. He will give his best to talk to everyone may it be a formal event or a casual event.
• INNOVATOR and TRANSPARENT
• His dedication to serving the public he makes use of the social media to give fresh updates and even weather updates daily and more often his whereabouts. • PEOPLE MIGHT MISINTERPRET HIS ACTIONS
• Since he was a politician people might misinterpret him to some of his actions. It is in his nature that he talks to people very casually.
• DILIGENT
• His hard work makes it worse because there are moments that he forgot to take care of his health. Even if he is not feeling well he will really get up and serve the people. He will do everything to serve.

My application in TelePerformance Philippines was very timely since it was a resounding year for call center business in the Philippines. Indeed, it was a reverberating job for all the Filipino's that time. But what about the year 2014? Where is the best place to work if you live in Albay, Philippines? How much salary do you think you can earn?

Working in Metro Manila
The GOOD

• Rewarding Salary
• According to one of the surveys you will earn as starting salary from PHP. 13,000.00 - 15,000.00 for a customer care representative with or without experience.
• For a call center Team Leader salary you will earn from PHP. 20,000.00 - 30,000.00.
• For a QA specialist PHP. 23,000.00 - 27,000.00
• World class
• Specialist, Team Leaders and Managers came from all over the country that has the confidence to take the challenge in the metropolis. More often, its employees are from any prestigious schools and universities in Metro Manila and country wide.
• Social Connections
• You will earn more connections in the metropolis. Earning them does not necessarily means you will earn real friends compare to your friends in the province.

The BAD

• Travel Time
• You have to consider the travel time from your place to the office. Normally in Metro Manila you have to consider a one - two hours allowance before leaving your point of origin.
• Traffic Jam
• In a metropolis, the traffic jam is highly expected to any corners of the streets. Expect a very stressful travel, you might want to consider buying a PSP to entertain yourself while on a jeep or in a cab or you might want to have a power nap on your way to the office.
• Homesickness
• Since most of us Filipinos are family ties oriented expect that you will look for an outlet to divert your attention perhaps in drinking with your newly found "friends" or you might want to join organizations available with your interest.
• Expensive Lifestyle
• It is totally a different lifestyle when you are in the Metropolis. You will consider buying clothes that will fit with the rest of the socialist group.
